As we all know, Jiajiang production base is one of the largest production bases for ceramic tiles in China. At the recent Third Session of the 7th Leshan City People's Congress, the county executive Yuanyue introduced the key tasks of Jiajiang. He said, in 2018, Jiajiang will focus on upgrading the ceramic industry and proceeding the programs of Arranging Industrial Companies to Retreat from the City and Go Back to the Industrial Parks and encourage the programs that are under construction to go into operation asap. Besides, Jiajiang will speed up the brand building as Capital of Tiles in the West, trying to maintain a marketing rate at above 96% and exceed the sales above 3.3 billion yuan.

So that means that, in 2018, Jiajiang will keep on upgrading the production lines of ceramic tiles. In fact, currently, not a few production lines in Jiajiang have already being transformed or upgraded. 

It has been revealed that, in last four year, Jiajiang has invested more than 4 billion yuan to upgrade the programs for high-end ceramic tiles. Until now, it has eliminated nearly 30 backward production lines.  Basically, Jiajiang has done a good job.

Yuanyue also said, in addition to upgrade the ceramic industry, Jiajiang will also develop the industry of new materials and advanced machines and proceed the construction of programs of carbon fiber ceramic tiles and graphene ceramic tiles so as to make the revenue of new industries grow by 30%.

It has been revealed that, in 2017, the total investment in fixed assets in Jiajiang ceramic industry reached 3.46 billion yuan. Among it , the investment for the high end ceramic tiles have been raised to 35%.
